Glass firing is a meticulous process that uses high-quality raw materials like fine silica sand and select minerals. These materials are melted in a kiln at temperatures exceeding 1,500 degrees Celsius. The precise control of heat transforms the raw mix into flawless, vibrant glass pieces, highlighting the skill and craftsmanship involved.
Ceramic lampshades are crafted using high-quality clay shaped through wheel throwing or hand-building techniques. After shaping, the clay is carefully dried and then fired in a kiln at high temperatures to ensure durability. A glaze may be applied for color and finish, followed by a final firing. This process results in elegant and functional ceramic lampshades.
